Cynthia Morgan Speaks On Her Long Hiatus From Music
Cynthia Morgan Speaks: Nigerian Reggae Dancehall artiste, Cynthia Morgan finally reveals why she has been AWOL from music in a recent interview.
The singer who changed her name to Madrina, made some confessions concerning her reasons for backing away from music for a long time.
For a number of years now, the question that has been on many music lovers’ lips is “where is Cynthia Morgan?”.
Nigerians missed the energetic songstress who thrilled her fans with several hit songs like “Don’t Break My Heart”, “I’m Taken,” “German Juice,”, “Come and Do” , “Baby Mama” and “Lead Me On.”
In a recent interview, with Sydney Shocker on ‘LunchTime Friday’ back in March 2020, Cynthia who was signed to Jude Okoye led North Side INC Label finally revealed why she took a break from music.
According to her, she was ill for a very long time and had family issues. She added that things were very hard for her and she eventually broke down.
‘Its been like a roller coaster for me. I took ill, I was really sick. When I changed my name, I had a lot of family issues. I had like a breakdown. So it was really hard for me. I actually went back to the studio but I wasn’t done, I still had to come back,”
