Glastonbury Festival 2020: Nigerian Award winning music icons, Seun Kuti and Burna Boy will be performing live at the Glastonbury Festival in UK come 28th of June, 2020.

This update was made known by the festival organizer, Emily Eavies earlier, amidst the coronavirus fears.

The African Giant and Seun Kuti will join Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Kendrick Lamar, FKA twigs, Thom Yorke and more musical artistes on the festival’s 50th-anniversary lineup.

Despite festivals like SXSW and Coachella being cancelled or postponed due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the festival is scheduled to go on as planned despite looming pubic health concerns, which includes directives to avoid large gatherings.

It is unknown if fans will show up in mass due to the current health status but we have to be optimistic that something as much as a cure would surface before then.

The Glastonbury Festival is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, in England.
In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts.
This year, the festival would be having its Golden edition and is to run from the 24th of June to the 28th of June, 2020.
