Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2020
AMVCA 2020 7TH EDITION: The 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards which held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday 14th, March saw the shooting stars of the Nigerian and African film Industry show style, glitz and glamour.
It was a beautiful scenery to watch, experience and be a part of.
Celebrities who also weren’t in the film making business showed up, ravishingly dressed to support and cheer their colleagues, friends and partners.
We had in attendance the Senator, Florence Ita Giwa who was duly recognized and some other dignitaries.
The event was anchored by seasoned broadcasters, Amina Abdi Rabar of Kenya and Ik Osakioduwa of Nigeria. The duo held the audience in awe with their perfect display of professionalism and their dazzling attires.
The show saw merited film makers and artistes win the coveted AMVCA plaques for their due hard work and efforts into creating a new brand of digital narration and visuals.
2baba, the music veteran entertained the crowd, performing his recently released Warriors Album, while Cobhams Asuquo gave an emotional musical/piano tribute in honour of Nollywood fallen stars.
