“Ratnik” Release Delayed Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
“Ratnik” Release Delayed: The Nollywood movie, “Ratnik” which was meant to premiere by April 10, 2020 has been pushed back in the wake of increasing confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
Blue Pictures Entertainment has confirmed that no re-release date is being considered at the moment until the outbreak is curbed. The distribution company shared on Instagram:
“Due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19, we have decided to put a halt to the release of “Ratnik” until there’s a positive turnaround with the situation of things. In the meantime, ensure you observe all preventive measures and stay safe”.
The director of the movie, Dimeji Ajibola is however yet to make a public announcement about the postponement but we believe that a push back is inevitable.
The movie story line is set in a remote Africa town during the early days of World War III:
A brazen special trooper returns home from the war-front to find her only sister at the verge of becoming the undead due to the abuse of a certain chemical substance. The race to save her life begins a new kind of war where the most advanced war machine known to man is unveiled.

The production Company in charge of this film is Flipsyde Studios Limited. It was shoot in Nigeria and was written by Dimeji Ajibola.
