Berita On Why She Ended Things With Nota Baloyi
Berita On Why She Ended Things With Nota Baloyi: South African singer and songwriter Berita speaks up about her failed marriage to Youtube critic Nota Baloyi. The couple who got married during the lockdown in 2020 went their separate ways in January this year and the couple recently opened up about the differences that affected their marriage.
According to Berita, her Ex-Husband is “irresponsible, dangerous, and disorderly“. This is no news to the public as Nota has used degrading and thoughtless words on people during his interviews. He recently described influencer Mihlali Ndamase as an ugly object which can be treated however one deems fit. In his own words, he said; “They don’t understand that if Mihlali is for sale, that means she’s an object, which means that you can kill her if you want to. It’s like buying a dog. You can put it down.”
This Nota guy doesn’t think about how his words might hurt other people and he picks any slight opportunity to bring people down. One would wonder how a soft-spoken woman like Berita stayed married to him for this long.
The couple appeared to be happy at first, posting lovey-dovey photos here and there. Nota even denied their separation for a while before it came to light. In his sit-down with Rea Gopane and Black Steph, the critic had accused his wife of being disloyal.
The singer made a detailed post about their separation saying; “I am no longer married to Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi. I left our marital home on Thursday the 13 of January 2022. As it stands we are currently separated. I have been quiet because my safety has been a huge concern. This man is extremely irresponsible, reckless, and unruly. He simply does not listen to anyone. I do not condone his actions. I cannot even begin to count the numerous times he has erred in his speech
“The bullying and disgrace I have faced publicly and privately is painful (sic). This man’s irrational behavior is beyond me. I am a very reasonable person. I will be the first to admit. I missed very big red flags.”
She went on to apologize to Mihlali, tweeting: “Mntase uxolo. I apologize to you. I do not condone the things said by Nota to you. No woman should ever have to be objectified and ripped apart publicly or privately.
